Highly sensitive detection of Cronobacter sakazakii based on immunochromatography coupled with surface-enhanced Raman scattering

چکیده

The presence of Cronobacter sakazakii must be controlled in infant powder plants, because it may cause infectious disease infants, with high mortality. Testing for C. powdered formula should performed before delivery, and requires rapid specific detection methods. In this study, we established a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) immunochromatographic test strip the quantitative determination formula. Monoclonal antibodies were labeled p-aminothiophenol-bound colloidal gold nanoparticles. Color change line indicated sakazakii. A highly sensitive method was developed based on signal produced by p-aminothiophenol bonding SERS assay required short analysis time (12 min) exhibited linearity range from 102 to 107 cfu/mL. limit 201 cfu/mL without preculture. is promising tool simple other pathogenic bacteria.

Highly sensitive surface-enhanced Raman scattering detection of hexavalent chromium based on hollow sea urchin-like TiO2@Ag nanoparticle substrate.

As one of the most toxic heavy metals, hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) has long been a concern due to its threats to human health and the environment. In this work, we develop a sensitive surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) sensor for highly specific detection of Cr(VI) using hollow sea urchin-like TiO2@Ag nanoparticles (NPs). The TiO2@Ag NPs are functionalized with glutathione (GSH) and used...

Novel surface-enhanced Raman scattering-based assays for ultra-sensitive detection of human pluripotent stem cells.

Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) are a promising cell source for regenerative medicine, but their derivatives need to be rigorously evaluated for residual stem cells to prevent teratoma formation. Here, we report the development of novel surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based assays that can detect trace numbers of undifferentiated hPSCs in mixed cell populations in a highly specifi...

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering

We present an introduction to surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) which reviews the basic experimental facts and the essential features of the mechanisms which have been proposed to account for the observations. We then review very recent fundamental developments which include: SERS from single particles and single molecules; SERS from fractal clusters and surfaces; and new insights into t...

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering

© 2007 American Institute of Physics, S-0031-9228-0711-020-6 When light interacts with matter, it can scatter inelastically from vibrational quantum states. During that process, photons may lose energy to, or gain it from, vibrational excitations. A change in the photon energy must produce a concomitant shift in the frequency of the scattered light (see box 1). The phenomenon, called the Raman ...
